These days, when I spend my time almost in my room or M3-the widest range, I've realised how long a day is. There comes an idea that makes me think how much time we normally waste.
In the UK, I just don't have as much free time as I need for a part time job. Lectures come up every single day and the determination to make the most out of the money I paid to be here. A UK student loses approximately £80,000/year to study in uni. Hence, it would be considerably more for an international student. There are so many opportunities for students, say active students, to travel and to challenge themselves in their most beautiful and only uni life. But then, for a tight budget, the more you wanna do, the more they gonna cost you and the longer time it will take you to finish your degree. Working as hard as I can in order to get a decent degree with a few activities is my choice in spite of its drawbacks. Just to be clear, going for the safer path doesn't mean I'm not adventurous.
In Vietnam, it's another story. I usually imagine the vision I'm jobless and don't have anything to do during the summer. The factual truth is I'm always wrong *ha ha ha*. There are just too many things I have to do back there.
The question is "can we still squeeze our time for other things?". Certainly we can but it's impossible to spend more time here without spending less there.
On the bright side of dull days, I treasure all the moments I keep fighting against these rashes with the support from my family, my "diamond" girlfriend and friends. True friends are ones who will be there when you're at your lowest point.
A big thanks to my friends, especially the new ones in Exeter.
A big thanks to HH. You've been spending your whole night with me on skype, keeping me from the itchy feeling and cheering me up.
:)
